...and in the winter (Säntis, Switzerland) !
 

Born on the 5th of January 1973 in Monterrey, Mexico, I was soon confronted with music, as my dad is a professional musician. I enjoyed music, cinema and the TV ever since I can remember me doing anything. A couple of years later, my brother Salvador was born, and I had to play and share my things with him. My school career went on fine, and I finally got accepted at the Universitad de Monterrey, UDEM. For the next five years I studied Law, and unlike many other students, even presented a thesis to finish my studies. This was very successful and I moved on living in Monterrey.

A couple of months later I accidentally bumped into the guy who later became my boyfriend and by now is my fiancé. To help him finish his studies, and to keep his household in good order, I moved to Salford, England, where we are staying until June of this year.

Being far away from my family and my former friends is a tough job. Sometimes I wish I could just jet off and land in Mexico, say hello to my beloved family (HOLA !) and enjoy the mexican hot summer sun. Yes, I miss the sun, the nice and warm weather, and ever so often I browse to the weatherpages to see how the climate treats my family. Not that the weather here in Salford is bad, but it just rains and rains and rains...and it is indeed very cold...!

Meanwhile, I have as well been to Switzerland, to Neuhaus and many other places. Fascinating how many shopping centres and other fun things they have there. Especially in Zürich, where we only went for a short time (guess why...), has a lot of shopping facilities. Maybe next time we go to Switzerland my boyfriend will leave me a bit more time to go and see all the stores...(got it, Tom ?)
