Yes I admit I am a fan of good old records. Sorry. Not surprisingly though, as my first real source was a decent record player made by DUAL. It was just more emotional than my Fisher CD-player, and had that slight background hiss (the sizzling bacon in the frying pan, I know, I know...).

Years later, when upgrading was a good idea, I bought myself a Czech record player, one from System Fidelity (I am currently looking for more information about this company ...anybody knows them ?). It was simple (the anti-skating force was provided by a little weight and a string), but it made a hell of a lot more music than my CD-player. Again, the emotional factor was a multiple compared to the one of my CD system. I know, the turntable is neither high end nor horribly expensive, but please drop me a line if you want to hear it...

Furthermore, I have a keen eye on people with lots of record but no record player. Would these people probably want to throw their records out of their houses ? Feel free to contact me for an adequate binliner and some cash...
